Quarterly, we enjoy partnering with Second Harvest of New Orleans, to distribute goods to our community. The volunteers of Coteau come together to serve our neighbors as we distribute groceries to those in need. During our visit we laugh, encourage, pray and sometimes sing praises alongside our sweet friends that have returned and those who are first time guests. Our visitors leave knowing that although we may offer them a physical need, there is a God that can offer them a spiritual one that will not only save the day, but save their life. As the volunteers depart at the end of the event they leave changed, knowing that God has used them to serve others. Exhausted and uplifted they leave thankful to Christ for supplying the goods through Second Harvest to meet the needs of others. To God be the Glory!
