In His Care and for His Glory,
Larry Ford is a Grammy award winning tenor who has committed his life to singing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Larry’s music career began when he climbed up on a chair at five years old at his home church in Levelland, Texas. Accompanied by his mother on the piano, he sang his first solo, How Great Thou Art.
Fifty years later Larry still sings How Great Thou Art. He has sung it in English, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, Italian and Norwegian. Larry’s music ministry has taken him to 49 states of the United States and to more than thirty foreign countries.
Larry’s traveling schedule includes over 100 concerts a year. In spite of his rigorous schedule, Larry’s priorities are as a proud husband, father and grandfather. The Ford's church home is First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, Florida. Dan and Darlene Betzer are their pastors and friends.
Three Bridges’ music is rooted in traditional ”southern gospel” and ”black gospel” music. This blended style has made Three Bridges an internationally-acclaimed Gospel group — one that is known for tight harmonies, a unique vocal style, an exciting and energy packed stage presence and, most importantly, for spreading the joy of the Good News of Christ. They have entertained and ministered to millions through their recordings, TV appearances and live shows — which is why Three Bridges has quickly become one of the most prominent Gospel groups in Christian music today.
This is not a 12 Step Program. This is a chance to learn, grow and get stronger in overcoming addictions of all types. We beleive that in order for a person to change their behavior you must change the way you think. To change the way one thinks requires changing what they believe. We will aid you in correcting what you believe both about yourself and God. Freedom comes in one way, through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You will learn how to euip yourself to say NO when the temptation comes to go backward. You will find encouragement and a complete lack of judgement. This not typical church, but people doing the the calling of the church. Led by former addicts that deal daily with thier issues and have been victorious in maintaining their sobriety. Everyone is welcome here.
