Hope Has Risen

Director: Tiffany Boudreaux

When loved ones come to us with a diagnosis of cancer several dreadful thoughts immediately spring into our minds. Suffering, loss, fear, grief, etc. are always at the top of the list. But what if we could replace those words with love, faith and hope. Here at Coteau we believe that God has a divine plan for each of us. It has nothing to do with what religion we may be or whether we have or have not stepped into a church building before. It’s simply….Hope! We can’t predict the future; only God knows what your story entails. However “HHR” volunteers are willing to pray, encourage and love you, possibly when you need it most. So whether you are under treatment now, have recovered, or are caring for a loved one, we have good news to share with you. One, you are loved first by our Father and second by us, secondly you are more than your disease or grief, and thirdly there is HOPE! I pray everyday for a cure to be found, but I also pray that you may face everyday with a Colgate smile living in the Hope of Jesus Christ! For He has risen and our hope is found!

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Once a year, we host a banquet aimed directly at giving you a night off from the stress of a diagnosis. We offer a three-course meal, entertainment, and mini beauty/ photo sessions. This night is completely FREE, sponsored by community families and businesses. Follow us on our Facebook Page or sign up for our email updates to stay informed.
