Did you know that there are over thirty verses in the Bible that refer to people worshipping and praising the Lord? Did you also know that 4 of those verses also speak of Jesus singing? The purpose of the Music Ministry is to exhort, uplift, and encourage the body of Christ through song and worship. However, Jesus is our Worship Leader. No one can inspire, lead or encourage us to lift our voices like the Great I Am can. However, when He does call one or more of His children here to lead in praise, it is a blessing and honor like no other. Coteau’s Praise Team has five members, Tiffany, Sarah, Keith, Joe and Johnny. They lead in a blended worship service that is fitting for every age. Seasonally we also have adult and children choirs that come together to build special services and musicals. Sunday mornings grant us a great joy as our congregation lifts their voices alongside our praise team to form God’s Choir, as we rehearse for the day in glory when we will all sing together!
